VPN API Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026 Applies to: partners using the VPN API module on the AdaptGroup platform

1. General

This document governs the terms of connection and use of the VPN API module. By using the API, you confirm that you have read and fully accept these terms.

The module is provided by AdaptGroup LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (hereinafter — the "Company"), which operates the AdaptGroup platform (hereinafter — the "Platform").

VPN API allows partners to integrate a VPN service into their own project — creating and managing end user subscriptions programmatically, using the Platform infrastructure.

2. Connection

2.1 API Access

Access to VPN API is provided without a prior application. After creating an integration in the dashboard, the partner is issued an API key.

By default, up to 5 integrations can be created within a single organization. The limit can be increased upon request to support.

2.2 API Key

The partner is solely responsible for keeping the API key secure. Transferring the key to third parties is prohibited. If the key is compromised, it must be reset immediately through the dashboard — the old key becomes invalid immediately.

3. Subscription Plans and Pricing

3.1 Subscription Plans

The partner independently creates subscription plans in the dashboard — setting the duration, number of devices, traffic limit, and retail price for end users.

The Company calculates the cost price of the plan based on its parameters and charges it upon each subscription creation. The current cost price is displayed in the dashboard when configuring the plan.

3.2 Additional Traffic

For plans with a traffic limit, the partner may provide end users with the ability to purchase additional traffic. The price per GB is determined by the Company and displayed in the dashboard.

3.3 Integration Balance

Funds are deducted from the integration balance for each operation: subscription creation, renewal, upgrade, traffic purchase. If the balance is insufficient, the operation is rejected.

If the balance goes negative (within the overdraft limit), new operations are unavailable. Active subscriptions continue to work until the end of the paid period — renewal, upgrade, and traffic purchase are unavailable during this time.

4. Infrastructure

The server infrastructure is shared across all integrations on the Platform. The partner does not manage servers or locations — this is the Company's responsibility.

The Company may, without prior notice, block an end user's subscription in case of violation of infrastructure usage rules, including:

  • reselling the subscription to third parties;
  • conducting network attacks of any type (DDoS, DoS, L3/L4/L7, and others);
  • any other use that threatens infrastructure stability or violates the rights of third parties.

The Company strives to maintain stable infrastructure operation but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to specific locations and is not liable for temporary unavailability of individual servers.

5. Webhooks

The Company notifies the partner of subscription events via webhooks. The partner independently configures the webhook URL through the dashboard.

The partner is solely responsible for keeping the webhook secret secure — if compromised, it must be reset immediately through the dashboard.

6. End User Data

End user data, including network activity (source and destination IP addresses), is stored by the Company. Traffic content is not analyzed by the Company.

The partner may notify their users that their data, including network activity, is processed with the involvement of a third party.

7. Partner Responsibility

The partner is solely responsible for:

  • the activities conducted using VPN API and the actions of their end users to the extent caused by the partner's actions;
  • compliance with applicable law regarding the provision of VPN services in the jurisdictions where the project operates;
  • properly informing end users about the terms of the services provided.

8. Company Rights

The Company has the right to:

  • Block the integration or organization for violation of these terms.
  • Block an end user's subscription without notifying the partner in case of violation of infrastructure usage rules.
  • Change plan cost prices and traffic pricing, notifying the partner through the dashboard in advance.
  • Amend these terms — the updated version is published in the Platform documentation.
