Adapt Mail Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

1. General Provisions

Adapt Mail is provided by AdaptGroup LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA, registration number 2026-002012463. Address: 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

These terms govern the connection, payment, and use of Adapt Mail mailboxes. They supplement the AdaptGroup Public Offer, Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

A customer is a person ordering the service directly from AdaptGroup or through a partner. A user is a person granted access to an account or an individual mailbox.

The customer ensures that users are informed of the applicable terms and grants access within its authority.

2. Purpose of the Service

Adapt Mail provides email reception, sending, and storage, and tools for working with attachments and user files.

Access is provided through the Adapt Mail web interface, supported email protocols, and the API. Customers ordering through a partner may use the partner's interface.

The availability of individual features depends on the access method and the application used. A feature being available in the web interface does not mean that every third-party email client supports it.

3. Accounts and Mailbox Access

An account is used to manage its associated mailboxes. One account may have access to multiple mailboxes.

An individual mailbox has its own login credentials. Giving a user access to one mailbox must not give that user access to other mailboxes associated with the account.

Accounts and services are created and managed through the service where the order was placed or an authorized integration. The existence of an Adapt Mail login page does not imply public self-registration.

The customer is responsible for assigning users and permissions, safeguarding passwords and API keys, and promptly terminating unnecessary access.

An authorized service owner may change the account associated with a mailbox using the available management tools. This change alone does not transfer the contract or billing relationship to another partner.

4. Connecting Domains

The customer may connect domains it owns or is authorized to manage.

Connecting a domain requires verification of control and configuration of the DNS records specified by the service. Depending on the operation, these include verification, email routing, and sender authentication records.

The customer is responsible for maintaining correct DNS settings and renewing its domain registration.

Changes to DNS records, expiry of domain registration, or loss of control of the domain may disrupt email reception and sending. Verification at connection does not mean AdaptGroup continuously monitors domain registration.

Connecting a domain does not automatically migrate messages from another email service. Content migration is performed separately.

5. Pricing and Paid Period

Creating an account to group mailboxes is free.

AdaptGroup's base service price is USD 1 per month for one mailbox with the base storage capacity. The fee is charged per mailbox, not per connected domain.

When ordered through a partner, the end user's price may differ. Payments between the end user and the partner are governed by the partner's terms.

The price, paid period, and order parameters are provided before a paid operation is confirmed. Integrations are charged against their respective balances.

The paid period begins after the mailbox is successfully provisioned. An unsuccessful creation attempt is not itself a provided service.

A storage upgrade changes the existing mailbox's parameters. The additional charge for the remaining paid period is calculated by the billing system and provided before confirmation.

Automatic renewal applies only when enabled in the ordering service and sufficient funds are available. Having funds on the balance does not itself mean automatic renewal is enabled.

Deleting individual messages or files does not cancel the mailbox subscription. Cancellation and refunds are governed by the Cloud Services Refund Policy, the order terms, and applicable law.

6. Storage

The base capacity of one mailbox is 10 GB. Capacity can be increased in 10 GB increments; AdaptGroup's standard additional charge is USD 1 per month for each increment.

The standard maximum capacity is 100 GB per mailbox. Downgrading the subscribed capacity is not supported. Other capacities may be provided by separate agreement.

For quota calculations, “GB” means 1024 MiB, equivalent to one GiB.

The total capacity is shared by:

  • messages in all folders, including sent messages, drafts, spam, and trash;
  • message attachments;
  • separately uploaded user files.

The Files section does not receive a separate additional allowance.

Usage reflects the actual stored size of messages and files, including MIME encoding and headers. A file may therefore use more quota than the size of its original version on the user's device.

If an uploaded file is attached to a sent message, the copy stored in that message also uses space.

Moving a message to Trash does not free storage until it is permanently deleted.

When the quota is exhausted, saving new messages and files may be rejected. Space must be freed or capacity increased to continue those operations.

7. Sending and File Limits

The following standard limits apply to one mailbox:

LimitValue
Recipients during the preceding 24 hours1000
Messages during the preceding 60 seconds30
Recipients per message50
Size of one separately uploaded fileUp to 25 MB

The daily limit counts message recipients, not just messages. One message sent to ten recipients consumes ten units of the daily allowance. Sending again to the same recipient also counts.

Recipients include addresses in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields.

Limits use rolling time windows. The 24-hour allowance does not reset for every mailbox at midnight: capacity becomes available as the corresponding time windows expire.

SMTP, the API, and the web interface share the mailbox's allowance. Using multiple applications does not increase it.

For individually authorized mailboxes, the daily limit may be increased to 5000 recipients. This does not remove the sending frequency limit, the per-message recipient limit, or the prohibition on spam.

Reaching a limit may result in a temporary sending refusal. Client applications must handle the response correctly and must not generate an uncontrolled stream of retries.

The limit for a separately uploaded file does not guarantee that a message with any combined attachment size can be sent. Sending also depends on the encoded message size and the recipient email system's limits.

8. Delivery and Email Protection

Adapt Mail receives and transmits messages using email protocols. Acceptance into the sending queue does not mean final delivery to the recipient.

Delivery time and outcome also depend on external email system availability, DNS settings, recipient restrictions, and filtering results.

AdaptGroup does not guarantee that every message reaches an external recipient's Inbox and cannot disable that recipient's provider rules.

Automated spam and virus checks protect the service. A message or file may be rejected, restricted, or placed in the spam folder.

These mechanisms do not guarantee detection of every threat and do not exclude misclassification. Users should remain cautious when opening links and attachments.

Content is processed for the purposes of providing the service and in accordance with the DPA. Spam and virus checks do not authorize employees to freely read correspondence.

9. Acceptable Use and Access Restrictions

Customers and users must comply with the AUP.

Spam, phishing, distribution of malicious messages, unauthorized use of others' domains, circumvention of limits, and attempts to access other users' mailboxes are prohibited.

Where compromise or active abuse is suspected, AdaptGroup may temporarily restrict sending, revoke the relevant access, or suspend the affected mailbox. Notification, review, and restoration follow the AUP.

A temporary restriction pending investigation does not mean automatic mailbox deletion.

Higher sending limits, paid capacity, or use through a partner do not exempt anyone from the rules.

10. Payment Expiry and Deletion

When the paid period expires, mailbox access is blocked, including reading and sending through the web interface, API, and email clients.

If the service is not renewed, mailbox deletion begins 24 hours after the paid period expires.

Deletion covers messages, attachments, separately uploaded files, and associated mailbox data, subject to the DPA and mandatory legal requirements.

Renewal must be completed before deletion begins. Restoration of the mailbox or its contents after deletion is not promised.

Expiry warnings are provided through the ordering service or partner. The customer independently monitors the paid period; failure to receive a notice does not automatically extend it.

The customer must export required data in advance. If AdaptGroup's assistance with returning data is needed, the customer should contact support before the deletion specified in these terms begins.

The 24-hour period is not a promise to physically erase all media at a particular second. Conclusion of processing, clearing technical copies, and retaining legally required information are governed by the DPA.

11. Storage Location and Backups

Adapt Mail messages, attachments, and user files are stored on servers managed by AdaptGroup and located in the United States.

Automatic mailbox and file backups are not included in the standard service. The customer independently arranges any necessary copies and tests restoration.

A separate storage server, technical copies made during maintenance, and availability mechanisms do not constitute a backup service provided to the customer.

Deleting data in Adapt Mail does not remove copies previously delivered to external recipients, exported by users, or saved by third-party applications.

12. Use through Partners and the API

A partner may provide users with the Adapt Mail interface or its own application using the available APIs.

The authority of the partner and its application is determined by contractual relationships, assigned permissions, and issued access credentials.

The partner is responsible for application security, separating access between users, safeguarding keys, and correctly handling service responses.

Administrative integration keys must not be given to end users instead of the access mechanisms intended for them.

Service events and technical notifications may be delivered through the system where the order was placed. The partner ensures they are processed and its users are informed as necessary.

Using a custom interface does not change storage, payment, limit, or service termination rules.

13. Availability and Liability

AdaptGroup maintains the email system, addresses identified faults, and takes measures to keep it operational.

The existing SLA for virtual machines and dedicated servers does not cover Adapt Mail. Unless a separate email service SLA is agreed, these terms do not establish a numerical availability guarantee or automatic downtime compensation.

The absence of a separate SLA does not release AdaptGroup from its contractual obligations or liability under applicable law.

AdaptGroup is not responsible for decisions of external email systems, customer-managed domain settings, or faults in third-party applications to the extent these are outside AdaptGroup's control.

14. Support and Changes to the Terms

Service requests are handled through support for the ordering service or partner. AdaptGroup support is available on Telegram: @adapt_support.

Reviewing a request may require the mailbox address, event time, message identifier, and a technical description. Passwords and API keys should not be sent in ordinary support correspondence.

The current terms are published in the AdaptGroup documentation. The customer or relevant partner is notified of material changes before they take effect, as required by the contract and applicable law.

A change to published terms does not itself mean an immediate reduction of already paid capacity or shortening of the paid period.

The DPA governs personal data processing; the AUP governs acceptable use. Mandatory legal requirements take precedence.
